The latest macOS version is macOS 13 Ventura. It was announced during the WWDC 2022 keynote on June 6 and was released on Monday, October 24. The new macOS version has been updated with several new features that were not found in its predecessors, macOS 12 Monterey. Similar to macOS 12, the new macOS is named after an actual location in California, United States. Ventura is a coastal city located in the northwest of Los Angeles.
