The original MFi chip, stolen from another device, can be used in the cable intended for the USB-C port. A new 3D printed cover is then applied before they are sent back to the machine. Where the Lightning port used to be, the USB-C end almost perfectly fits.
The speaker module needs to be lowered a bit for the MFi chip to stay in its new position. The iPhone 12 Pro Max USB-C is ready to go again after meticulous reassembly and the addition of a new battery. The machine works in every way, according to testing conducted by the company.
